Maybe there’s stories of Bushies crossing lines — or maybe not — either way, this is good on Biden and Obama:

Tami at work asked me the other day, “What don’t you like about McCain?” A succinct answer eluded me. There’s not really an easy way to summarize these campaigners; no two-word answer — well, I did attempt one, jokingly, but it was lame.
In the wake of WaMu’s collapse and subsequent sale to JP Morgan, 10% of employees may lose their jobs and some back pay too, but at least the former CEOs of WaMu, Kerry Killinger and Alan Fishman will probably have enough money to struggle along until their next “job.” Killinger received 98 million before he was fired three weeks ago, and Fishman, on the job less than three weeks got nearly 20 million.
Sarah Palin wasn’t sure what the Bush Doctrine was, so she couldn’t agree or disagree with it, and then when she did expand on her answer, she didn’t agree with McCain. Republicans and McCain himself will surely claim that she did understand the policy in question, and that we’re all misreading her evasiveness incorrectly. Maybe she was just running the standard politician scam of running circles around the question in order to avoid it completely.
In this “internal” Vlog “Sarah Palin” talks about various things, including her kids.

Pakistan appears more and more to be harboring Osama Bin Laden. They don’t want us looking for him in the mountains, and they won’t let us launch offensives inside their borders. Now they’re protesting our attacking terrorists because we may have stepped over the border by who-knows-how-little:
I’m really, really suprised by McCain’s pick for Vice-President, as is everyone else in the world — even the people who were running the grass-roots movement to get her selected. Sarah Palin. Hockey-mom. Mayor of a 7000 person town until elected Governor or Alaska less than two years ago. Wow.
South Ossetia and Abkhazia broke away from Georgia during civil wars in the 1990s. Russia strengthened ties with them after the U.S. and much of Europe recognized the independence of the Serbian province of Kosovo earlier this year, a move that Moscow had warned against.
And now the US and EU and UN are all mad that Russia has recognized S.Ossetia
